11. MAINTENANCE
- Maintenance jobs must be performed by trained or previously authorized personnel.
- While the jack is being serviced, all the measures required to prevent the jack from being accidentally started must be
taken.
- All of such instructions and obligations as referred to in the section "SAFETY STANDARDS AND DEVICES" MUST be
complied with.
- The master switch must be locked in the "zero" position by means of a padlock.- The key of the padlock must be kept by
the maintenance staff throughout the duration of the job.
PERIODIC MAINTENANCE
To keep the jack fully serviceable, such operations and deadlines as stated in the TESTING REGISTER (to be drawn
up from time to time) must be kept to. Failure to comply with the above instructions will relieve the manufacturer of all
responsibilities under the WARRANTY. However, the oil of the lifting system should be changed at least every 5 years. This
operation must be performed by trained personnel.
EXHAUSTED OIL DISPOSAL
During oil change, exhausted oil in the control unit and system must be handled as a polluting product, and thus disposed
of in accordance with current laws applicable to the country where the jack has been installed.
