Using two generating sets simultaneously (coupling)
The parallel operating terminals (A19) are designed to be used with a parallel operating kit (optional: contact your nearest agent for
more information). This kit, composed of coupling cables and an electrical socket, is used to connect two generating sets with the
same technical specifications in order to obtain a total power of 3kW.
Refer to the user manual provided with the parallel operating kit to obtain the instructions relating to use.

Switching the generating set off
1.
Switch off and disconnect the device used or the battery from the electrical socket or the 12V socket (A13 and A14).
2.
Put the economic idle speed (A11) in the
3.
Set the switch (A10) to
The generating set is turned off.
4.
Turn the fuel tap (A6) to the OFF position.
5.
Whilst maintaining the fuel tank cap (A4) closed, turn the air vent (A5) to OFF.
5 Maintaining the generating set
The maintenance operations to be carried out are detailed in the maintenance table. The interval for this is supplied as a guide and
for generating sets operating with fuel and oil which conform to the specifications given in this manual. Shorten the maintenance
intervals according to the conditions in which the generating set is used, and as required (for example, clean the air filter more
frequently if the generating set is used in dusty environments).
5.1
Reminder of use
As a safety measure, maintenance should be performed on the generating set regularly and carefully by people who have the
necessary experience and are equipped with suitable tools. Any warranty becomes void in the event of failure to respect the
maintenance recommendations. For any questions about a special operation, please contact your nearest agent who will advise
and help you.

Performing the maintenance procedures
Before carrying out any maintenance operation:
- switch off the generating set,
- wait for at least 30 min until the generating set has cooled down,
IMPORTANT
- disconnect the cap(s) from the spark plug(s).
Only use original parts or equivalent parts to prevent damaging the generating set. To perform proper maintenance operations, the
generating set's side panels must be removed; once these operations are completed, the side panels must be refitted and carefully
screwed back into place.
5.3.1 Top up the oil
The used oil must be recycled or disposed of in accordance with applicable local regulations. In order for the drain operation to be
more effective, it is advisable to run the generating set for a few minutes before the drain operation in order to make the oil more
fluid.
1.
Whilst keeping the fuel tank cap closed, turn the air vent (A5) to OFF.
2.
Remove the side enclosure screws (A23) and the side enclosure (A22).
3.
Remove the oil filler cap (A2-B1).
4.
Position an appropriate container under the oil filler cap and tilt the generating set to drain out all of the oil.
5.
After the oil has been drained out completely, reposition the generating set upright and place it on a flat horizontal surface.
6.
Using a funnel, top up with the recommended quantity of oil (see § Specifications) to the required level (B2).
7.
Refit and tighten the oil filler cap.
8.
Check that there are no oil leaks, and wipe away any traces of oil with a clean cloth.
9.
Refit the side enclosure and its screws.
