Maintenance socket (item 4)
-
Connectivity for the KEMPER service. KEMPER-Service can make the
adjustments to MaxiFil using this interface.
Pressure measurement opening (item 5)
-
Connectivity for the KEMPER service. KEMPER-Service can carry out
pressure measurements using this interface.
Signal horn (item 6)
-
Safe capturing of welding fumes is only possible with sufficient extraction
performance. With increasing dust load to the filter elements, the flow
resistance increases and the extraction performance decreases. As soon as it
falls below a minimum value, the signal horn sounds and the yellow signal
lamp lights up in regular intervals. A filter change is required.
The same happens, when the throttle valve in the exhaust hood is shut too
much and this also reduces the extraction performance too much. You can
solve this problem by opening the throttle valve.
Connector socket for start-stop sensor (item 7)
-
An optional start-stop sensor can be connected here.
-
Its use achieves that the MaxiFil is only in operation during the actual welding
time (arc time) as well as the set stopping time. The presence of the start-stop
sensor is automatically detected by MaxiFil.
Pressure switch (item 8)
-
Only to be used by KEMPER-Service.
INFORMATION
A self test is carried out when the MaxiFil is connected to the voltage
supply system for the first time; the signal horn sounds briefly and the
signal lamps flash briefly. This should be carried out in regular intervals
(weekly) by the user by pulling out and then plugging the mains plug
back in again. If the signal horn and signal lamps are not activated,
then the MaxiFil has to be checked by KEMPER-Service.
