7.3 Filter change

The life span of a filter insert depends on the type and quantity of discharged
particles.
Information
With increasing dust load to the filter elements, the flow resistance
increases and the extraction performance decreases. As soon as it falls
below a minimum value, the signal horn sounds and the green
operating lamp goes out. Changing the filter element is now required.
Check in advance with your regional waste disposal company about
the correct disposal of the filter which is contaminated by welding
fumes.
WARNING
Cleaning filter inserts is not permissible. This will lead
-
inevitably to damage of the filter medium, whereby the filter will
no longer function and hazardous substances will get into the
air.
Only use original replacement filters; only these guarantee the
-
necessary extraction level and are adjusted to the filter device
and technical data.
Skin contact with cutting fumes etc. may lead to skin irritations
-
if the person is sensitive.
Severe damage to health of respiratory organs and the
-
respiratory tract.
Please wear protective clothing, gloves and a fan-respiratory
-
protection system e.g. KEMPER autoflowXP or a filter
respirator mask of class FFP2 as per EN 149 in order to avoid
inhalation of dusts.
HAZARD
Never stand under the suspended load!
-
Comply with max. load capacity of the industrial truck.
