MOUNTING AND WIRING INSTRUCTIONS

NOTE: Line art shown may not exactly match the fixture enclosed. However, the installation
instructions do apply to this fixture.
1. Turn off power at circuit box to avoid possible electric shock.
2. Thread mounting screws (A) into mounting bar (B). Secure the mounting screws (A) with hex nuts (C).
3. Place mounting bar flush against ceiling at desired mounting location. Using outside mounting
bar holes as a guide, mark where pilot holes are to be drilled.
4. Inset two plastic anchors (D) into the pilot holes (for drywall ceiling).
5. Align outside mounting bar holes with plastic anchors (D) (If applicable). Secure mounting
bar (B) into place using wood screws (E).
6. Slide column (J) down over nipple (K) (Carefully twist fixture loop 1(I1) to secure column (J) (if
needed.) Do not twist or kink wires.
7. Open one link on bottom end of chain (F). Attach to loop 1(I2). Securely closed link on chain (F).
8. Lace wires up through every other link on chain (F) then through canopy (H) and nipple.
9. Open one link on top end of chain (F). Attach to loop 1 (I1) on canopy (H). Securely closed link
on chain (F).
Note: This fixture can be Chandelier or semi-flush mount. If for semi-flush, please skip the step 6
to 9 above and follow below steps.
10. Remove the loop 1 (I1) from the canopy.
11. Remove the loop 2 (I2) from fixture cap (G).
12. Affix the canopy (H) to the fixture cap (G) by hex nut (L) and star washer (N).
13. Make an electrical connection by loosening the terminal screws on the terminal block (M)
and inserting the live, neutral and ground terminals.
14. Tighten terminal screws. Make sure there are no stray wires.
15. Raise canopy (H) to ceiling, allowing mounting screw (A) to protrude through openings in
canopy (H) and secure into place with cap nuts (T).
16. Install the top of the cage shade (M) to socket (J) with retaining ring (O).
17. Install lamp (not supplied). (Please do not exceed the maximum capacity recommended on
the socket).
18. Install the cage cover (N), secure it by clips (K).
19. Turn power back on at circuit box.
