Dear Customer,
Thank you for purchasing the Iridium 9555 Vehicle and Marine Docking Station from SATTRANS /
BURY. We hope you will appreciate its high quality and user-friendliness.
Safety information:
• The product should be installed in such a manner that nature elements and mechanical
shocks will not interfere with the product's operation.
• The cradle must not block operation of vehicle's safety airbags
• Do not attempt to operate the product if you find its cables, plugs or other components
defective.
• Please do not attempt to open or repair the product.
Important Notes:
• Product's functionality and its performance should be tested with the vehicle's engine
running or ignition/power turned on.
• When making the first call using the product, the recipient of the call could initially hear
a slight echo. After the product adjusts to the new environment conditions in a few
seconds, this echo should disappear.
• If the satellite phone is inserted correctly into the cradle, charging of the phone's
battery starts as soon as the ignition/power is turned on.
Liability
SATTRANS, BURY and all their affiliates shall not be liable for any damages due to improper
handling of the product. Attempts to repair the product by unqualified personnel can be dangerous
to the user. Only qualified personnel are allowed to carry out any repairs.
Satellite Communications
Satellite communications have some specific peculiarities different from landline cellular
communications. Physical obstructions to the sky such as buildings, trees, hills and mountains can
cause interference to the reception and transmission of the satellite signal and deterioration in
quality of conversations. Please check the level of satellite signal before placing a call, as well as
consult the user manual of your satellite phone.
