DONNING AND USE

Collect the SPIROSCAPE from its storage location.
1.
Place the neck strap over your head as shown in [figure 2].

With your right hand, distinctly pull the strap connected to the quick-start ring

[ref d, figure 5] upwards; see [figure 2]. This is what happens when you pull the
strap:
The seal [ref a, figure 5] is broken.

The quick-start ring [ref c, figure 5] is pulled away from the cylinder valve and the
l
air starts to flow.
The zip opens (make sure that the zip opens all the way).

NOTE: THE DURATION TIME OF THE APPARATUS STARTS NOW.
Push both your hands into the opening of the neck seal and pull the hood over

your head; see [figure 3]. Adjust the hood so that it fits comfortably and so that
you can see properly.
NOTE: PERSONS WEARING GLASSES SHOULD PULL THE HOOD ON FORWARDS OVER THE HEAD, STARTING AT
THE BACK OF THE NECK. STRETCH THE NECK SEAL OUT TO CLEAR YOUR GLASSES.
If necessary, adjust the length of the neck strap.

Begin the evacuation and leave the toxic environment immediately. See [figure 4].

AFTER USE

Check that the hood and hose has not been damaged. If the hood and hose is

damaged, send it away for servicing or replace damaged parts.
Clean the inside of the visor and the outside of the outer hood with a soft cloth

and mild disinfectant. Then wipe the parts dry with a soft cloth.
