BEFORE USE

Battery Replacement

Your meter comes with four 1.5V AA alkaline batteries. The meter
will alert you when the power is low by displaying two different mes-
sages:
1. With battery exhausted symbol " " appears
on the display: the meter is functional and the
result remains accurate for another 30 mea-
surements, but battery should be replaced.
2. With battery exhausted symbol " " flashes
on the display: the batteries can not provide
enough power for a test. You must replace the
batteries immediately.
