• Choose a different spot each time you test. Repeated punctures at the
same spot may cause soreness and calluses.
• Before you decide to begin AST, please consult your health professional.
• It is recommended that you discard the first drop of blood as it might
contain tissue fluid and serum, which may affect the test result.
NOTE
Step4 Apply blood into the test strip.
When " " flashes on the display, apply your
blood to the absorbent hole of the test strip un-
til the confirmation window is fully covered with
blood. The meter will then begin to count down
automatically.
Step5 Obtain an accurate result in 7 seconds.
The result of your blood glucose test will appear
after the monitor counting down to 0. This read-
ing will automatically be stored in the monitor
memory.
