06 | POWER CONNECTION

1. Connect the AC adapter (4) with the socket (1) at the charger and connect the AC
adapter with an outlet. Alternatively, connect the car adapter (5) to a 12 V socket
(cigarette lighter) in the car.
2. A black line flashing in the centre of LCD display (2) indicates that the charger is
in standby mode.
07 | CHARGING OPERATIONS
07.1 CHARGING 3.6 V OR 7.2 V LITHIUM-ION BATTERIES
1. Adjust the slide contacts (3) to the position of battery contacts. Insert the
battery into the charger.
CAUTION
The dimensions of the Li-Ion batteries have the following limitations: the width
of the Li-Ion battery may not exceed 4 cm. The distance between 2 pins of the
Li-Ion battery must be more than 3 mm.
2. Adjust the charger housing to the battery.
3. If the battery is inserted correctly and the charging process has started, the LCD
display flashes (2) and either indicates 3.6 V or 7.2 V.

07.2 CHARGING NIMH OR NICD RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES
CAUTION
The charger can only charge 2 pcs NiMH AA or AAA batteries. A single NiMH
battery won't be charged! Do not charge NiMH and NiCd rechargeable batteries
at the same time. Only charge NiMH or NiCd batteries of same type and of same
voltage.
1. Insert two AA or two AAA NiMH batteries into the charger. Make sure to respect
correct polarity +/- when inserting the batteries.
2. If the batteries are inserted correctly and the charging process has started, the
LCD display flashes (2) and indicates NiMH/NiCd.

07.3 BATTERY CHARGING STATUS
After charging is completed, the charger switches to trickle mode.
