HEUTE shoe shine machines are built and tested in accordance with
current safety requirements. A guarantee can only be provided that
the machine will function properly and can be operated safely if nor-
mal precautions are taken when using the machine and the safety
instructions provided in this operating manual are complied with.
Guarantee claims will not be honored for damage caused because
the instructions in this operating manual were not followed. The
manufacturer assumes no liability for personal injury and property
damage caused because the instructions in the operating manual
were not complied with. In the event of problems, please contact our
service department.
Intended use
Using electrically powered brushes, HEUTE shoe shine machines are
used to clean and care for the uppers and soles of closed shoes and
boots. No other use is permitted!
Only brushes and care products approved by the manufacturer for
the machines may be used.
Operation is only permitted in enclosed, dry rooms, in compliance
with the guidelines in the "Safety instructions" section.
Operation in potentially explosive atmospheres is not permitted.
Foreseeable misuse
The shoe shine machine is fundamentally unsuitable for:
- Cleaning, brushing off, and care of parts of the human body and
objects other than footwear.
- Use as a tradesman's device for processing surfaces.
- Use that involves the addition of liquids (other than the intended
shoe polish).
Safety instructions
The machine may not be modified or converted this
can cause risks of short circuit, electric shock, fire,
etc. Maintenance and repairs may only be carried out
by persons authorized to do the work. Only original
parts may be used.

between 0°C and 40°C.

Stop using the machine if the cleaning brushes are
worn. Worn brushes can damage the shoes.
This appliance can be used by children aged from
8 years and above and persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience
and knowledge if they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe
way and understand the hazards involved.
The machine satisfies the requirements of appliance
class I. The power supply is either 230 V AC, 50 Hz or
115 Volt AC, 50 Hz. In this regard the specifications
on the rating plate must be complied with!
The motor can heat up to as much as 90° C when the
machine is being used. Do not touch the hot motor
unless you are wearing protective gloves.
Children shall not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made
by children without supervision.
Ensure that the possibility of any contact of the
maschine by pets or other animals is excluded.
The leather shoe polish to be used with the machine
is only suitable for leather care. Ingesting the shoe
polish is harmful to your health.
Stop using the machine if it is damaged and unplug
the electrical plug from the power source.
Excessive contact pressure when using brushes can
damage leather!
The owner of the machine is responsible for any
personal injury and property damage due to non-
intended use or that is caused by operating errors
and/or incorrect connection.
Always unplug the power plug and disconnect the
power supply prior to cleaning. We recommend using
a dry or damp microfiber cloth to clean the housing.
Do not use cleaning agents or household cleaners.
Protect the machine against moisture, water spray
and heat.
