5. Installation
IMPORTANT!
The illuminator must be disconnected from the mains power during installation.
The polarity is unimportant.
Use the mount included when mounting to a wall or ceiling. Proceed as follows:
1.
First, remove the mini IR illuminator from the mount by loosening both screws.
2.
Use the wall bracket to help you find a suitable installation location. Now mark the drill holes
using the mount as a guide.
3.
Drill the holes in advance and insert the accompanying screw anchor.
4.
Now fix the mount in place using the screws.
5.
Next, screw the illuminator onto the wall bracket using the previously loosened screws. Align
the illuminator before screwing in place.
Always mount the illuminator so that the camera and illuminator are pointing in the same
direction. Always maintain a distance of at least half a meter from the camera. Never point the
illuminator directly at a camera's image sensor.
Please note:
Ensure that the cable remains taut during installation.
