12. Only take the container off of the base when the motor has come to a
complete standstill.
Crushing ice
13. You can directly crush ice cubes. The process is slightly faster if you put a
little water in the mixing container first and then add the ice cubes.
14. Put ice cubes in the container or add them into the container through the
fill opening while the appliance is in operation.
15. Press the momentary switch briefly several times until the ice is crushed to
your liking.
Caution: The brief operating time is 2 minutes. After 2 minutes let the
appliance cool down, to avoid motor damage.

CLEANING AND CARE

Before cleaning, always turn off the appliance and unplug it from the
electrical outlet.
CAUTION! Be careful when cleaning the cross-blade, the cutting edges are
very sharp.
1. To avoid damaging the surfaces do not use aggressive cleaning agents or
cleaning sponges.
2. Never immerse the motor block in water! Wipe off the base with a damp
cloth and dry it with a soft cloth. Ensure that water cannot get into the motor
block.
3. Empty the respective container completely before cleaning.
4. The containers and the blade can be easily cleaned with the aid of the
momentary switch. Put a little warm water and a few drops of washing-up
liquid in the container and briefly press the momentary button. Then rinse
out with clean water.
5. Alternatively, the container can also be dismantled for cleaning.
6. Unscrew all parts (in the reverse of the sequence described under point
„Assembly of the glass container").
7. All removable parts can be cleaned in warm water with a mild dish-washing
detergent. The glass vessel can also be cleaned in the dishwasher.
8. Eliminate stubborn onion or garlic odour with lemon juice.
9. Ensure that all parts are completely dry before putting them together and
putting the container back onto the appliance.
