By turning the drive (8) clockwise with a torque spanner, the spindle nut (3) turns in clamping
direction with the mobile jaw (4). The scrapers (1) prevent dirt from entering the thread of the
spindle.
After placing the mobile jaw (4) against the workpiece, the feed spindle stops to serve as a
support and the ball coupling (6) is disengaged.
Turning the pressure spindle (7) further spreads the pressure amplifier (5) apart and the clamp-
ing force is built up.
Only with ALLMATIC TITAN 2 CA: the electronic measuring system (2) in the spindle measures
the clamping force and transmits the values by radio at 2.4 GHz.
