To prevent the motorbike from tipping and ensure stability, always remember to block
the wheel with the vise supplied with the machine (C fi g.12) that slides along the run-
ners on the table.
The vise is made of two jaws; one fi xed and one adjustable. The adjustable jaw is
regulated by a wheel (A fi g. 12), that tightens the jaws onto the bikes wheel. Having
blocked the bikes wheel lock the band (B fi g. 12) that is fi tted to avoid the wheel from
slipping out of the vise by accidental.
WARNING
Using only the wheel clamp does not assure motorcycle stability. Al-
ways position the motorcycle on it's own stand or on the optional lifting
device
WARNING
Make sure there is nothing and nobody under the lifter, and that the ve-
hicle is steady on the lifter, before starting to lower it.
LIFTING
Turn to the right the selector (B Fig.11 BL 600). Press the pedal "PUMP" (D fi g 11 BL
600 M). The upper platform goes up and the mechanical safety device is activated.
Release the selector/pedal to stop lifting. The lift will always stop in one of the different
position of the mechanical safety device.
LOWERING
Press the button (A Fig.11 BL 600). Press the pedal "RELEASE" (E fi g 11 BL 600 M).
A pneumatic cylinder controls the disengagement of the mechanical safety device and
the lift goes down.
NOTE: If the platform does not descend when the pedal is pressed, raise it
slightly (2/3 cm) and then give the down command again.
Release the button/pedal to stop lowering. The lift always stop in one of the different
position of the mechanical safety device.
RECESSED MODEL ONLY (BL 600)
During downward movement, the lift stops at a height of 500 mm.
To continue downward movement, press buttons A and C at the same time – fi g. 11
A warning sound indicates possible crushing or cutting hazard.
The lift is equipped with a removable back support (A Fig.5) which can be moved
whenever necessary to work on the back side of the motorcycle (f. ex. to facilitate
wheel removing).
The rack is equipped with a number of devices to ensure operator safety.
1. In case of a breakdown or malfunction in the oleodynamic circuit, a mechanical
safety lock prevents the rack from falling in uncontrolled conditions (A and B fi g. 8).
2. The area in front of the rack has stop bar to prevent the exit of the motorbike wheel
(A fi g. 13).
3. Placed on the control device, it is set at the max. working pressure (165bar) and it
