D escale the base of the appliance / water tank
regularly in order to maintain the steam gen-

eration and to extend the lifespan of the appli-
ance. The amount of limescale deposit caused
will depend on the water hardness type. Des-
cale the tank
after every seventh to tenth use.

Slight and persistent scale:

F or slight scale, use a cloth moistened with
vinegar.

W ipe the scaled areas with it.
j
U se correspondingly more vinegar for persistent
scale.

T hen rinse and dry the appliance thoroughly.

with a little detergent using a washing-up brush.
Then rinse all the parts thoroughly and dry
them carefully.

scouring powder, scouring sponges, steel wool,
washing soda or bleach.
