RECOMMENDATIONS FOR THE INSTALLER
It is important for personal safety to follow all the instructions. Incorrect installation may cause damage to goods and/or property. Carefully read the
recommendations contained in this manual, as they will offer you important information regarding the safety, use and maintenance of the installation.
Once the product has been unpacked, check that nothing is missing. If in doubt, do not use the appliance and get in touch with the nearest technical centre.
The packaging must not be left within the reach of children, as they constitute a potential source of danger.
You should also check that the metal blind is in good mechanical condition and is correctly balanced.
Check the correct manual working of the blind which is to be automated.
If tensions, frictions or decompensations exist, they should be corrected before proceeding to the automation.
On no account should an automatism be installed in a blind which does not work properly, as both the door and the installed components can deteriorate and
even cause dangerous situations.
This mechanism must be used exclusively for what it has been specifically designed for. Any other use must be considered incorrect and therefore dangerous.
The installation must be performed by qualified personnel, respecting the indications of the manufacturer and in accordance with the regulations in force.
Pay special attention to the instructions for all the elements which form part of the installation.
Check that the nominal tension of the elements to be installed corresponds to that of the mains and that the mains power is suitable for the maximum power of
the equipment.
Check that the cable section is suitable as regards the power absorbed by the elements (if in doubt contact an expert).
Never install an appliance without connecting its corresponding earth wire.
Install the activating element for manual unblocking at a height lower than 1.8m.
Install a fixed control which can be seen from the door but separate from the mobile parts and at a minimum height of 1.5 m.
To unblock the blind (the motor must be disconnected) turn the knob until it can be moved manually.
For installation it is necessary to have a switch which ensures the omnipolar cutting off of the electrical supply according to the safety regulations in force.
The use of any electrical appliance implies the observation of basic rules:
- Do not touch the appliance with wet or damp hands or feet.
- Do not use the appliance with bare feet.
- Do not pull the electrical supply cable to unplug the appliance.
- Do not leave the appliance exposed to atmospheric agents unless this is specifically stipulated.
- Do not allow the appliance to be used by children.
Make these reminders known to all those who use the installation.
If there is any damage to or malfunctioning of the appliance, disconnect it and do not touch it.
Any repair of the appliance must only be performed by the manufacturer or by an authorised technical service centre, using exclusively original spare
parts.
Clearly indicate on the door whether it is automatic or remote controlled, (if that is the case). The manufacturer cannot be considered responsible for any
damage caused by the non-fulfilment of these recommendations.
