HOT PLATES
y These hotplates are used for keeping food at a temperature above 63°C in buffets, at serving stations, for plate stacks, etc.
y Suitable for: plates, 1/1 gastronorme trays and sub multiples, pastry boards, service surfaces in glass or porcelain, etc.
y Warning: certain cast dishes can scratch the tempered glass top. Pace these dishes without moving them across the glass surface.
Do not move them in contact with the glass surface.
y These plates should not be used to reheat or to cook foodstuffs.
y Two models are available :
- hotplate measuring 400 x 600 mm
- hotplate measuring 600 x 600 mm

A triangular label is supplied with the instructions. It is to be attached as desired to a vertical face of the plate on the user's side.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTION (see diagram 1 page 2)
y Cable with connecting plug supplied with the appliance, with a section of 0,75mm
y Supply voltage of 230V, single phase, 50/60 Hz.
y The appliance must be connected to a single phase, 10/16 Amp, female socket with earth, and should be connected under the protec-
tion of a high-sensitivity differential circuit breaker protected against voltage surges.
y The appliance must not be connected other than via the single phase connector. Any modification to this arrangement will release us
from our responsibility in this regard.
USE
y Connect the 3-pin plug (2P + E). The red indicator light, located on the glass above the electrical connector, comes on.
y Allow your hotplate to pre-heat for 20 minutes before using it.
PRECAUTIONS
y The top of the hotplate is very hot and can give rise to burns.
y Caution: Do not use the appliance if the glass top is cracked.
y This equipment is not intended for use by individuals (including children) with reduced physical, mental or sensory capacities, or by
individuals lacking the necessary experience or knowledge, unless they have received supervision or prior instructions relating to the
use of the equipment by an individual responsible for their safety.
y Children should be supervised in order to ensure that they do not play with the equipment.
MAINTENANCE
y When power is switched on the red light does not come on or the plate does not heat up :
- check the electrical supply
- contact your retailer.

SERVICING
y Before any servicing, disconnect the appliance from the electrical supply.
y The appliance must not be cleaned with a water jet.
y Stainless steel parts : see page 6.
y Tempered glass : use products for glass or ceramic hobs. Do not use abrasive products or sponges. Avoid cleaning products of the
aggressive type for cleaning ovens or stain removal.
This equipment carries the recycling symbol in accordance with Directives 2002/95/CE and 2002/96/CE relating to Waste Electrical or
Electronic Equipment (DEEE or WEEE) At the end of its working life the equipment should be recycled in accordance with the regulations
that are in force in the country of its installation.
