The filter is best cleaned in the dishwasher
using a gentle dishwashing agent. The
manufacturer shall not assume any
guarantee whatsoever
discolouration caused by the use of aggres-
sive dishwashing agents. Temperatures
exceeding 65 degrees must be avoided in
all cases.
Caution: Do not use three-phase cleaning
agents or clean the filter in a commercial
dishwasher. Cleaning with aggressive
agents such
trichlorethylene, etc. leads to destruction of
the filters!
Re-insert the filter after cleaning. The safety
glass panel must subsequently be
returned to its original position for models
with full-surface extraction. For this, lift the
panel with both hands until the magnetic
contact holds again.
Active carbon filter change
(only for hoods with recirculation mode)
The active carbon filter binds odours
contained in the kitchen vapours.
Depending on the amount of use, this filter
must be changed every 3 to 6 months.
The active carbon filter is usually installed
with a frame underneath the fan module.
Turn the two black knurled screws by 90
for
as petrol, acetone,
any
degrees to change the carbon filter. The filter
can be easily changed after folding down
and removing the frame. Installation in
reverse order.
In some hood models, the active carbon
filter is mounted directly on the metal filter.
After removing the metal filters, push out
the carbon filter and replace it with a new
one. Important: The active carbon filter may
not be cleaned with wet cleaning agents.
