9 Commissioning
The power supply unit is connected to the mains voltage via the IEC power connector and the mains switch.
The LED in the mains switch must light up after the unit is switched on. The blue LED on the unit for
indicating the operating status must light up.
Consumers should be connected while the power supply unit is switched off to prevent the possibility of
sparking.
The correct polarity must be noted: the red socket is the "24 V DC" connection, the blue socket is the "0 V"
connection. The output voltage is potential-free. The "0 V" connection must be connected to the earth
connection if the output voltage is to be referred to the reference potential of the supply network (earth
potential).
10 Eliminating malfunctions
Problem
Indicator in the mains switch not lighting up
Operating status LED not lighting up
Changing fuses
Switch off the device.
Unplug the power plug.
The fuse holder is located directly at the mains connection. The fuse holder can be opened using a
suitable flat head screwdriver.
Replace the fuse with one of the same type and nominal amperage.
Close the fuse holder again.
11 Maintenance and cleaning
The device is maintenance-free. Use a slightly damp, lint-free cloth for cleaning without any abrasive,
chemical, or solvent-containing cleaning agents.

Solution
• Check the plug socket
• Check that the power plug is mechanically secure
• Check the micro fuse and if applicable replace with one
of the same type and nominal amperage.
• Check the load for short circuit by switching off the device,
unplugging the load and switching back on the device.
• Check the resettable fuse (4 A) by pressing the button.
