Failure to respect a danger sign or warning may harm operator or damage the equip-
ment. Do not remove protections, do not tamper with machines or their operation. In
spite of our best efforts, it is possible that the hazard warnings are not exhaustive; we
apologise in advance to the user for this, and ask in the meantime that users anticipate
any possible sources of danger that we might not have noticed, and to advise us of
these.
Starting of aspirator
The appliance has been manufactured according to CEI 62-5 regulation 2
1991 and is to be connected to the power supply line according to C.E.I. 64-8 regula-
tion for fi rst class appliances. The power supply line must be protected from direct
and indirect contact, overload and overcurrent according to C.E.I. 64-8 regulation.
When you open the door safety switch (det. 13) cuts off the power supply line and
aspiration stops; aspiration comes back on when you shut the door.
Functioning
(details fi g. 1-3-5-7-8-9 page 32-33-34)
Once you turn on the main switch on the power supply line and the unit switch (det.
9 I = on / O = off) aspiration starts.
Aspirated dust goes through the suction tubing (det. 8) and is conveyed to the bag
fi lter (fi g. 3-7-9) with or without activated carbon; dust settles inside the bag while the
air fl ows to the aspiration unit (det. 14) and is exhausted outside. The tubing inlet (det.
10-11) must be located over the mouth (fi g. 4), at a minimum distance of 30 cm.
Main maintenance and cleaning operations
(details fi g. 3-7-8 page 32-33-34)
• Biological danger, danger of infections from epidemic diseases.
• General danger sign.
• High temperature.
In order to ensure correct functioning of the aspiration unit, periodically check plug and
power supply cable as their wear and tear can be dangerous. Dust bag-fi lters (fi g. 3)
or activated carbon container (fi g. 7) need very frequent replacing. Once the carbon
becomes saturated it looses its fi ltering power, therefore great care is necessary.
We suggest replacing the container and carbon once every three months.
Used carbon is to be delivered to authorized companies for regeneration or dis-
posal*.
Absolute fi lter (fi g. 8, det 4) must be replaced about every six months; progressive
fi lter saturation decreases gradually its fi ltration power and fl ow rate as well.
