2.1 Normative specifications
The legal framework conditions in effect at the place of installation must be observed. All currently relevant standards, rules and regulations apply.

2.2 Intended use
This product can only be operated safely when used as intended. Schlüter-BEKOTEC-THERM-RTBR / -RTB limits the media temperature of a radiator
heating circuit and uses it to heat floor and wall areas in individual rooms. BEKOTEC-THERM-RTBR is also used for single-room temperature control. Any
operation beyond and/or differing from this scope is considered improper use. Claims of any kind against the manufacturer and/or its agents for damage
caused by improper use will not be recognised. Proper observance of these instructions is part of intended use.
2.3 Product modifications
Product modifications are prohibited. Product modifications of any kind invalidate the product warranty. The manufacturer assumes no liability for damage
and malfunctions resulting from product modifications.
2.4 Warnings
All warnings comprise the following elements:

2.5 Safety information
This product is designed to meet adequate scientific and technical safety standards and is safe to operate.
Nevertheless, residual hazards may arise for people or property during the installation and operation.
2.5.1 Hazards caused by inadequate installer qualification
The work with this product may only be carried out by sufficiently qualified installers.
2.5.2 Risk of injury due to improper installation
Components with sharp edges, tips and corners at and in the product may cause injuries.
▶ Ensure sufficient free space prior to starting the work.
▶ Handle open or sharp-edged components with caution.
▶ Keep the working area neat and clean to avoid sources of injury.
2.5.3 Hazards from uncontrolled hot media spillage
▶ Only perform the work when the product is not under pressure.
▶ Allow the product to cool down prior to starting the work.
▶ Check the product seal after the work.
▶ If applicable, cover venting openings with a cloth.
▶ Immediately replace defective fittings.
▶ Wear protective goggles.
