General Power Tool Safety Warnings

ADDITIONAL SAFETY RULES FOR THIS MACHINE
1.
Use auxiliary handle(s), if supplied with the tool. Loss of control can cause personal
injury.
2.
Hold power tool by insulated gripping surfaces, when performing an operation where
the cutting accessory may contact hidden wiring or its own cord. Cutting accessory
contacting "live" wire may make exposed metal parts of the power tool "live" and could give
the operator an electric shock.
3.
Disconnect from mains supply whenever any work, servicing and adjustment or change of
accessories and cutters is required.
4.
Before using the machine, inspect and check power cord and plug for signs of damage and
if any found, have these repaired or replaced immediately. Plug the cord in only after
making sure that mains switch is OFF.
5.
Machine should never be damp or wet. Do not use the machine in damp or wet locations.
6.
Do not leave the machine running unattended. Switch ON only when hand-held.
7.
Keep hands well away from rotating parts.
8.
Keep sure footing and body balance at all times for better control of reaction torque.
9.
For longer machine use, wear hearing protectors.
10. Likewise it is recommended to wear safety helmet, safety glasses and/or face shield. Also
wear a dust mask and thickly padded gloves.
11. Prior to work starting, make sure that cutting accessory is fitted properly.
12. Before starting work carefully check all screws for tightness. Due to vibration screws come
loose and can cause serious breakdown or injury.
13. Make sure no one is below when using the machine in high locations.
14. Avoid touching near dry-cut immediately after work process. Area can be very hot and
cause severe burns.
15. To avoid machine self-starting, always trigger-off the switch should power supply become
interrupted or plug accidentally withdrawn from the socket while motor is still running.
Auxiliary Handle
In hard held drilling operations, only use the machine with the auxiliary handle fixed. This handle must
be tighten on the collar, by turning the lever.
Switching the machine on/off
The drilling machine is equipped with an electronic positioning switch including a locking device.
The more the switch is pressed, the higher the speed. This allows for precise drilling when starting a
hole.Under normal working conditions, always work at maximum speed.
