Prevent hearing damage: Set the volume to a low level before
starting playback. Then increase the volume after starting play-
back.
If you do not hear anything at the start, do not immediately set the
device to very loud because it could simply be a pause and the
recording could suddenly start at a high volume thus causing
hearing damage.

Playing recordings

Switch the device on
(Standby mode)
Use the FILE button
file containing the recording you
want to hear.
Press the Rewind button
or Forward button
recording you want to hear: Press
the buttons as long as necessary
until the required recording number
appears in the display.
Press the Play/Stop button
play the selected recording.
The display switches between the
message PL (for play) and the corre-
sponding recording number.
Note: You can adjust the volume during playback by pressing the Plus and
Minus buttons.
