cable does not touch hot surfaces of the Quiche Maker.

standards and do not manipulate the power cable! If the power cord is damaged it must
be replaced by the manufacturer or his customer service, or a similarly skilled person to
prevent hazards.

4 Baking surfaces
5 Omelettes moulds
Before use
Remove the Omelette Maker from the packaging and remove all packaging materials. Check the
Quiche Maker for damage. Do not use the Quiche Maker if damaged.
Clean the Omelette Maker as described in chapter "Cleaning". Lightly grease the baking surfaces
(5) with butter, margarine or oil suitable for baking. This will make it easier for manufacturing residue
to release from the baking surfaces (4). Now plug the mains plug into a mains socket and heat up
the Quiche Maker once with the cover (2). Risk of burns! The temperature of accessible surfaces
can be very high during use.
A slight odour and even minimal smoke may form during first use due to manufacturing residue. This
is normal and will disappear after a short time. Please ensure adequate ventilation. If necessary,
open a window.
Now unplug from the mains socket and allow the Omelette Maker to cool off with the cover (2) open.
Next clean the Omelette Maker again as described in chapter "Cleaning". The Omelette Maker is
now ready for use.
Initial use
Risk of burns! The temperature of accessible surfaces can be very high during use.
Place the Omelette Maker on a level, heat-resistant surface. When using on a delicate surface,
place a heat-resistant pad under the Omelette Maker.
Never operate the Omelette Maker with a time switch or a remote controlled socket.
Depending on the batter used, it may be beneficial to first lightly brush the baking surfaces (4) and
omelettes moulds (5) with vegetable oil. This may make it easier to remove the finished omelettes.
- Plug the power plug into an easy to reach socket. The Omelette Maker does not feature an On/Off
switch and will start heating up immediately. The red indicator light (1) will light up once the Quiche
Maker is connected to power.
