5. ADJUSTMENTS AND CONTROL
5.1 SAFETY VALVE AND AIR PRESSURE CONTROL
5.1.1 Releasing and locking the safety valve

• Press knob B and turn it clockwise to release safety valve A.
• To lock it once again, turn knob B counterclockwise and
release.
5.1.2 Air pressure control

Make sure that safety valve A is open.
Operating pressure must be approximately 6 bar. This pressu-
re has already been set in the factory, but if it is necessary to

reset it, use knob D (Fig. 12) while observing dial E. Proceed in
the following manner:

• Pull out knob D. Turn it clockwise to increase the pressure,
or counterclockwise to decrease it, and push knob D back in
to lock it.
• To remove condensation from the filter, turn control C cloc-
kwise, press it in, and turn it once again counterclockwise.
This operation must be performed while safety valve A is re-
leased.
5.2 TRIMMER CONTROL
The function of the trimmer is to cut away the excess from
the edge at both ends of the board.
Depending on the type of finish being applied to the edge,
and to make it easier to adjust the trimmer and select the
type of bit to use, it comes with a table of indications (SEE
3.3.1 INFORMATION INDICATIONS TABLE A), with a schematic
of the combinations possible.
Trimming with 3 mm radius and 10º, 2 mm radius and 10º,
45ºx3mm or 45ºx2 mm chamfer
The machine is equipped with a safety val-
ve (Fig. 12). Whenever performing any ad-
justment, setting or repair operation, the
valve must be closed and a padlock placed
on it. A qualified, authorised operator should
be in charge of keeping the keys.
The machine leaves the factory with the
safety valve closed.
