1. Safety Instructions

• The following instructions are given for your own safety and must be followed without exception.
• Before connecting and operating the unit, please first read the safety instructions and the operating instructions.
• Keep the operating instructions in a safe place for future reference.
• Never operate the housing beyond its technical specification.
• An all polarity, easily accessible mains cut-out switch with a minimum contact gap of 3mm must be installed near
the unit so that the unit may be disconnected for servicing. The earth wire must have a low impedance connection
conforming to DIN VDE 000.
• When laying the power supply cable, the next instruction must be followed without exception: cables must not be
stressed, kinked or damaged when installed and moisture must not be able to penetrate.
• The system must only be put into operation and serviced by personnel qualified to do so in accordance with the
installation instructions - and conforming to the relevant standards and directives.
• The installer is responsible for maintaining the IP 66 protection system.
• Stainless screws must be used when installing the unit outdoors.
• Only use manufacturer's original spare parts in the unit.
Care of the unit:
• The front panel should be cleaned regularly to ensure a clear display.
• It should be wiped with a soft damp cloth.
• Never clean the housing with solvents, petrol or abrasive sponges as this could permanently damage the surface.
