3. Opening and closing the unit

To open the housing, undo the two screws a at the sides of centre frame M. The housing body can then
be pulled off centre section A.
In versions containing disk heaters, pull the heater connector on the terminal board or on the mains
power supply unit depending on the version.

The central component (runner) provides a removable connection to the camera compartment.
Slide the housing body to the end, drop it down so that it can be moved back in vertical position c to
provide access to the components inside, or press the two sides of the runner to remove the housing
body completely from the unit in horizontal position d.

The rear housing cover is fastened and sealed to centre frame M with 3 M4 socket head screws b.
Note
When closing the unit, make sure that the sealing rings between the different parts of the housing are
in the proper positions in the rear, centre and front sections and that no wires are trapped between the
housing and the edge of the cover.
Note
After opening the housing for servicing, the cover seals on the opened sections must be replaced
in order to retain the IP 66 protection system.
