Chocolate fondue Use instructions
2. Set the switch (1) to position 'I' (see figure 2). The indication light (2) now illuminates.
3. Allow the chocolate to melt and use the spatula (5) to stir it to a smooth substance.
When you wish to keep the chocolate liquid after it has been molten set the switch, after the choco-
late has been molten, to position 'II' (see figure 2).
Operation - Fondue
You can use the fondue forks (7) to dip almost anything into the warm chocolate. What about fruit,
long fingers, small pancakes or biscuits? Everything tastes delicious when it has been covered in a
layer of warm chocolate.
1. Set the switch, when the chocolate has already been melted, to position 'II.'
1. If necessary, prick the food onto a fondue fork first. You will then not risk burning yourself on the
hot chocolate.
2. Dip the food into the liquid chocolate or hold it under the fountain.
To more easily liquify the chocolate you could add 50 ml of unwhipped cream to 200 grams of cho-
colate.
Cleaning and maintenance
Thoroughly clean the appliance and the separate components after use.
1. Turn off the motor and the heating element and remove the plug from the plugsocket.
2. Cleaning the chocolate melting pot:
a. Allow the chocolate melting pot to cool down, but not so much that the chocolate solidifies. The
chocolate is easier to remove whilst it is still liquid.
b. Thoroughly clean the inside and outside of the bowl with hot water to which a little washing-up
liquid has been added. Do NOT use scourers. Then dry them thoroughly.
Use an oven mitt when taking out the bowl when it is still warm.
3. Clean the housing of the appliance with a damp cloth, if necessary with an additional couple of
drops of washing-up liquid. After cleaning, dry the unit thoroughly.
• Do not save any chocolate that is left over for use at a later date.
• Verify that the appliance is not connected to the power supply when you clean it.
• Never use corrosive or scouring cleaning agents or sharp objects (such as knives or hard brushes)
to clean the appliance.
• Do not immerse the chocolate melting pot in water or other liquids.

The European directive 2011/65/EU on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE),
requires that old household electrical appliances must not be disposed of in the normal
unsorted municipal waste stream. Old appliances must be collected separately in order to
optimize the recovery and recycling of the materials they contain, and reduce the impact on
human health and the environment. The crossed out "wheeled bin" symbol on the product
reminds you of your obligation, that when you dispose of the appliance, it must be separa-
tely collected.
