Preparing the ride-on mower
● Remove the discharge chute and
original mowing deck
(see instruction manual for the ride-on
mower).
Remove both gauge wheels.
Store the mowing deck safely, in
particular out of reach of children.
● Open the engine hood, remove
the pedal rubber and service
cover.
● Remove original blade clutch (1)
and two cable ties.
● Unscrew parking brake
linkage (2) from linkage (3).
Remove clamping ring (4) and
discard. To pull linkage (3) out of
the support plate, press brake pedal (5)
and block as shown.
● Remove support plate (6). Undo
five screws, remove spacer
sleeve (7) and bolt (8).
● Remove the seat and cable ties.
● Remove the console with wings.
To do this, undo five screws in
the rear panel and two screws in
the area of the seat console,
detach left and right retaining lugs (9)
from the rear panel.
Assembly work
Avoid damage to the machine!
Observe tightening torques (see
spare parts list).

● Install left and right gauge wheels
in the bore shown on mowing
deck (A).
● Install bolt (1) in support plate (D)
but do not tighten yet. Fasten
support plate (D) to the frame
using five screws, screw on
spacer sleeve (2).
● Press the brake pedal and block
as shown. Push linkage (3) into

the support plate, secure with
new clamping ring (H) and attach
to parking brake linkage (4).

● Place spring (F) on blade
clutch (E) as shown. Install blade

clutch (E) (secure screw with
Loctite 243). Connect the cable.
Tighten bolt (1). Fasten the wiring
harness to the support plate using two
cable ties (G).
● Set the lowest cutting height. Drill

through the frame in the position
shown (Ø 8.5 mm). Fasten pin (I)
with nut (J).

● Set the highest cutting height.
Install the console with wings.
Allow left and right retaining

lugs (5) to engage in the rear
panel.
● Install the seat in the bore shown,
fasten the wiring harness using
cable ties (G).
● Install the service cover and
pedal rubber.
● Install clip (C) in the front mowing
deck mounting but do not tighten
nuts (6) yet.
● Install mowing deck AMS 127 (A) and
new discharge chute (B). (
● Tighten nuts (6) and check the
tyre pressure of the wheels.

● Checking mowing deck
adjustment:
The mowing deck AMS 127 must

be angled (10 mm higher at the
back than at the front). Adjust the
angled position using the two nuts (7, 8)
on the left and right at the rear
mounting.

● Set the engine speed in accordance
with the specifications in the section
"Technical data", observe the
information in the engine
manufacturer's maintenance

manual. (
Perform a function test.

3.1 Cutting height adjustment lever

Six cutting levels can be set using the
cutting height adjustment lever.

Cutting levels 7 and 8 are unavailable
when the mowing deck AMS 127 is
installed.
Lowest cutting height:
30 mm (level 1)

Highest cutting level:
90 mm (level 6)
