4. Safety devices

4.1 Integrated blade run-down brake

The mowing blades come to a standstill
7 seconds at the latest after
disengagement when the mowing deck
AMS 127 is installed.
Risk of injury!
If the run-on time of the mowing
blades exceeds this delay, stop
using the ride-on mower and take it
to your specialist dealer.
Measuring the run-on time
Following engagement, the mowing
blades turn and a wind noise is audible.
The run-on time corresponds to the
duration of the wind noise following
disengagement. This can be measured
using a stopwatch.

5. Operating the machine

5.1 Driving
Before driving:
● With the mowing deck removed, press
the V-belt tensioner lever forwards and
lock in place. ( 6.1)

6. Mowing deck

Risk of injury!
Before performing any work on the
mowing deck, carefully read and
observe the section "For your
safety". ( 1.)
Danger of pinching when
performing assembly work on the
mowing deck due to its inherent
weight. Therefore ensure that no
body parts (hands, fingers, feet,
etc.) are positioned directly under
the mowing deck.
Before removal and installation:
● Park the machine on level and solid
ground.
● Turn the front wheels to the left or right
to the stop.
● Stop the engine, remove the ignition
key and engage the parking brake.
● Remove the grass catcher box and
discharge chute.

6.1 Removing the mowing deck

● Select the lowest cutting level.
Slackening the V-belt
● Detach retainer (1) from the V-
belt tensioner lever.
● Press V-belt tensioner lever (2)
forwards and hold in place. Attach
retainer (1) at the frame as shown.
Make sure that the V-belt tensioner
lever is fixed in the front position.

● Pull out cotter pin (1) upwards.
Lift up the mowing deck slightly and
hold. Remove retaining pin (2).
● Repeat this procedure on the other
side.
● Carefully and slowly set down the
mowing deck.
● Pull V-belt (3) forwards and detach.

under the machine
● Push mowing deck (1) forwards and
detach it at front mowing deck
mounting (2).
● Carefully and slowly set down the
mowing deck.
● Set the highest cutting level.
● Pull mowing deck (1) out from under the
ride-on mower either to the left or right.

6.2 Installing the mowing deck

● Select the highest cutting level.
