General Guidelines

Refer to the Velleman® Service and Quality Warranty on the last pages of this manual.
Keep this device away from dust and extreme temperatures. Make sure the ventilation
openings are clear at all times. For sufficient air circulation, leave at least 1" (± 2.5 cm)
in front of the openings.
Protect this device from shocks and abuse. Avoid brute force when operating the device.
Familiarise yourself with the functions of the device before actually using it.
All modifications of the device are forbidden for safety reasons. Damage caused by user modifications
to the device is not covered by the warranty.
Only use the device for its intended purpose. All other uses may lead to short circuits, burns,
electroshocks, crash, etc. Using the device in an unauthorized way will void the warranty.
Damage caused by disregard of certain guidelines in this manual is not covered by the warranty and
the dealer will not accept responsibility for any ensuing defects or problems.
Do not switch the device on immediately after it has been exposed to changes in temperature.
Protect the device against damage by leaving it switched off until it has reached room temperature.
Keep this manual for future reference.

On-off switch
Switch the device on or off.
2.
Microphone input
Standard ¼" plug.
3.
AUX input
Input connection for an MP3 player or other line source.
4.
IR sensor
IR eye to receive the remote signal.
5.
LCD display
High-quality display to indicate all functions.
6.
USB port
Connection port for a USB stick or other devices with USB connection.
7.
SD card slot
Connection for your SD card.
8.
Repeat button
Repeat the current track.
9.
EQ control button
Access button to the MP3 player EQ menu.
10.
MIC LEVEL control button
Control button for the microphone level.
11.
AUX/MP3 LEVEL control button
Control button for the MP3 level.
12.
LINE LEVEL control button
Control button for the line input level.
13.
VOLUME button
Control button for the master volume. To avoid speaker damage, make sure this button is
always at the lowest before switching on the device.
14.
TREBLE button
Control button for the master treble level, ranging from -15 dB to +15 dB.
15.
BASS button
Control button for the master bass level, ranging from -15 dB to +15 dB.
16.
F- button
Press this button to select the previous folder.
