water softeners and filter jugs.
Do not add chemical, natural, detergent, or limescale removing
substances, etc.
1. PREPARATION FOR USE
1.1 Position La Vaporella on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface.
1.2. Open the flap for filling the tank. Fill the tank with water up to the
MAX line located on the tank itself (1), but no further.
The water tank can be removed by pulling it from the lower
handle (2).
These operations must always be carried out with the power cable
disconnected from the mains.
You may fill up the tank when necessary, you need not wait for the
appliance to cool.
1.3 Close the flap and/or reinsert the water tank.
1.4 Gently pull the power cable out and connect it to an appropriate
mains socket (3) that is earthed. Always use the product with the
cable completely unwound. Take out the steam hose.
1.5 Turn the dial on the appliance in a clockwise direction starting
from to the desired program (4-5). The indicator light on the iron (6)
will light up yellow, to show that the appliance is heating up to reach
the temperature for the selected program.
The sound emitted on switching on your appliance and
periodically during use, is due to the water refilling system and
is quite normal.
2. IRONING PROGRAM SELECTION
This Vaporella is equipped with an intelligent iron, where the
temperature and steam are pre-set according to the selected
program, i.e. the type of fabric to be ironed.
Before ironing an item of clothing, always check the symbols on its
label, for the instructions provided by the
Divide the laundry according to the symbols on the garment
labels or according to the kind of fabric. Always start ironing
with the garments that require the lowest temperature, in order
to reduce the waiting times and avoid the risk of burning the
fabrics.
With the Universal program you can iron all fabric types
without adjusting the iron and steam temperatures.
Select the desired program based on the type of fabric to be ironed,
by turning the dial on the appliance (4-5).

program has been selected, the indicator light on the iron will light up
yellow, to show the appliance is heating up. Wait until the indicator
light turns to a constant blue.
Press the button (7) to start the steam coming out of the holes on the
plate. Start ironing the garments. Releasing the button, the flow
stops.
When first using the steam, there may be some drops of water
leaking out of the plate, this is due to thermal stabilization. It is
recommended that the first jets of steam are not directed onto
the fabric that needs ironing.
WARNING: Do not leave the hot iron on any surface. La
Vaporella comes with a removable iron rest mat (8) with non-slip
pads designed to resist high temperatures. Do not position the
iron on the base without the rest mat (9).
3. OPERATING THE STEAM PULSE
The STEAM PULSE function (intermittent steam) can be activated for
an easy and quick iron, by double-clicking on the steam button (7).
The intermittent steam penetrates further into the fabric, speeding up
and improving the ironing. In this mode, the iron will begin alternating
between emitting steam and one second of not emitting steam.
To deactivate this function, press the steam button again.
To reactivate, repeat the procedure from the beginning.

4. VERTICAL IRONING
It is possible to use the iron vertically to remove creases from fabrics
and/or to freshen up the fibres, eliminating possible residual odours.
Hold the iron vertically, push the steam button (7) and touch the
fabric slightly with the soleplate, if the type of fabrics allows it.
5. DRY IRONING OR IRONING SYNTHETIC
GARMENTS
Turn the dial to the SILK program.
Wait until the indicator light turns to a constant blue.
Continue with the ironing.
