• Install the filter vertically on the wall with screws, thus ensuring full
functionality of the automatic condensate drain valve
• Connect air inlet G ½ i to compressed air line with detachable screw
connection
• Slide condensate drain hose [1-10] over the drain valve [1-9]; put
hose end into a suitable collection container (not included in delivery).
Information!
• Mount shut-off tap in front of the filter, e.g. Art. No. 10934 (not in-
cluded in delivery), allowing easy and safe filter maintenance.
7.2. Retrofit SATA filter 244 to filter 284 [2]
For retrofitting with an activated charcoal filter, a SATA filter 264 [C] (Art.
No. 141226) is required:
• Depressurize filter (close shut-off tap)
• Release [2-1] pressure regulation valve [D] and air outlet module [E]
from filter combination [A]/[B]
• Screw on [2-2] SATA filter 264 [C]
• Screw on [2-3] pressure regulation valve [D] and air outlet module [E]
8. Use
Use solvent-resistant, antistatic, undamaged, technically flawless com-
pressed air hoses with a continuous pressure resistance of minimum 10
bar, e.g. Art. No. 53090!
Information!
• Mount connection nipple G ¼ i to hose DN 9 (not included in delivery).
• To ensure regular filter maintenance, please attach the adhesive stick-
ers 'filter exchange ' [1-7], [1-11], [1-13] in their respective colours
(yellow = sintered filter [A], blue = fine filter [B], black = activated
charcoal filter [C]) to the filter housings [1-8], [1-12].
1. Connect suitable compressed air hose.
2. Turn the pressure adjustment knob [1-5] in counterclockwise direction
to the maximum; state = closed
3. Turn pressure adjustment knob [1-5] to the right until required pres-
