Multifunction Button (Fig. A)
The Brake Disc and Tyre Analyzer is switched on and off by
pressing the power button with built-in multi-colour LED
The multifunction button activates the laser beam and the
micro-camera while the tests are in progress.

If there is no power via USB, the Brake Disc and Tyre Analyzer
switches off automatically after 5 minutes of inactivity.
Adapter (Fig. A–C)

WARNING: Risk of damage. Do not try to remove the
adapter by pressing on the front part of it.

WARNING: Remove the adapter if analysing the
disc's state of wear to avoid distorting the micro-
camera's readings.
The Brake Disc and Tyre Analyzer is equipped with a magnetic
adapter designed to be used only for the analysis of the tyre's
state of wear.

SCANDIAG SOFTWARE SETUP

System Requirements

Below you will find a list of system requirements for installing
the SCANDIAG software on a PC. SCANDIAG software is
compatible with the following Microsoft operating systems:
Windows 7 - Service Pack 1 - x86 / x64
Windows 8 / 8.1 - x86 / x64
Windows 10 - Version 1607, Build 14393 recommended -
x86 / x64
Operating systems Windows RT and Windows 10 S are
not supported.

(*) The request for space on the hard disk refers to a single
diagnostic environment for its first installation.
The recommended space takes into account the possibility to
update the software to higher versions.
(**) The Internet connection is necessary in order to access the
on-line services, perform updates, etc.
In order to optimise the use and reduce the risk of possible
compatibility problems, we recommend that this software be
installed on a PC that is dedicated exclusively to workshop use
Bluetooth® Resources
The SCANDIAG software provides special automatic
configuration functions for products equipped with
Bluetooth® technology.
To use these functions, you must install the software on a PC
equipped with Bluetooth® peripheral devices.
The software supports the following drivers:
Microsoft™
WIDCOMM™ 1.4.2 Build 10 or higher
TOSHIBA™ 4 or higher
If the drivers used are not supported by the software, you will
not be able to use the automatic configuration procedures.
As an alternative, use the Bluetooth® manual configuration
functions provided by your operating system.
We do not recommend installing Bluetooth® peripheral devices
(USB flash drives) on PCs with a built-in Bluetooth® system.
