ESTABLISHING CONNECTION VIA ETHERNET

Connect the Ethernet port of the LD DSP44K or DSP45K power amplifier to your computer using a suitable Ethernet cable and turn on the
power amplifier. If you want to directly connect and manage 2 or more LD DSP44K or DSP45K amplifiers directly via a PC, please use an
Ethernet switch and configure a separate IP address for each power amplifier (e.g. 192.168.0.100, 192.168.0.101, etc.). The amplifier's
IP address can be configured manually on the device itself or with the OCS software under Ethernet Config. The IP address of the LD
DSP44K or DSP45K amplifier is set at the factory to 192.168.0.100. This means that a different IP address must be used in the system
settings of the PC under Internet Protocol Properties Version 4 (TCP/IPv4), in this case, for example 192.168.0.1 (Fig. 4). IP settings
can be assigned automatically (Fig. 5), if the network supports this function (e.g. network router). Start the OCS software and in this case,
ensure that DHCP is enabled under Ethernet Config (DHCP enabled, Fig. 6). If necessary, check Use DHCP and click on the button Update
IP/DHCP. Furthermore, in the Ethernet Config window, the device search function can be de-activated (Search Devices), the IP address
of a power amplifier can be edited (if DHCP is not being used, enter the numbers in the input field and click Update IP/DHCP), the Ethernet
module of the power amplifier can be reset (Reset Ethernet Module) and the power amplifier can be assigned a name (enter name into
the field under "Device Name" and click Change Device Name ). To identify a power amplifier, click on the desired power amplifier in the
device list, then click Identify Device. The power amplifier's name and its IP address will be displayed briefly in the device display.
