3. Important information
Be sure to read the following information before you
use your cordless air pump for the first time:
1. The replaceable NC battery pack for the cordless
air pump is not charged when delivered. The
battery pack has to be charged before you use
the tool for the first time.
2. Charge the battery pack with the charger
supplied. An empty battery pack requires a
charging period of approximately 3 to 5 hours.
Do not use the supplied charger to charge other
items of equipment.
3. The battery pack does not reach its maximum
capacitance until it has been charged and
discharged approximately five times.
4. NC battery packs lose their charge even when
they are not being used. Regular charging is
therefore recommended.
5. Please check the data marked on the rating plate
of the battery charger. Be sure to connect the

battery charger to a power supply with the
voltage marked on the rating plate. Never
connect it to a different mains voltage.
6. In heavy use the battery pack will become warm.
Allow the battery pack to cool to room
temperature before commencing with the
charging.
7. The machine does not have an automatic cut-
out. You must therefore monitor the complete
inflation and deflation process. Do not exceed
the inflation pressure recommended by the
manufacturer in any circumstances. If inflated
objects burst they can cause serious injuries.
8. Switch off the machine immediately in the event
of an overload and allow it to cool.
9. Never insert your fingers or hands in the inflation
or deflation connections. Never direct the air
outlet towards eyes whilst the machine is
operating. Do not cover the air openings.
10. Never insert objects into the openings.
4. Proper use
This machine is designed exclusively for inflating
large items (for example inflatable boats and large air
mattresses). It is not suitable for vehicle tires, bicycle
tires and inflatable play, sport and beach items.
Please note that our equipment has not been
designed for use in commercial, trade or industrial
applications. Our warranty will be voided if the
machine is used in commercial, trade or industrial
businesses or for equivalent purposes.
5. Starting up
Charging the NC battery pack
1. Remove the battery pack (4) from the handle,
pressing the pushlock buttons (A) at the side to
do so.
2. Plug the battery pack (4) into the charging
adapter (8).
3. Check that your mains voltage is the same as
that marked on the rating plate of the battery
charger. Plug the battery charger (7) in the plug
socket and connect the charging cable to the
charging adapter (8). The red LED will be lit to
indicate that the battery pack is being charged.
When the charging process has finished, the red
LED will go out and the green LED will light up.
The time it takes to fully recharge an empty
battery is approximately 3 to 5 hours. The
