temperature of the battery pack may rise slightly
during the charging operation. This is normal.
4. To reduce the memory effect of the NC battery
pack, press the "Set" button whilst the red LED is
lit. The red LED will go out and the "Set" button
will light up. The lit "Set" button indicates that the
battery is being discharged. The charging
adapter (8) may become a little warm during the
discharging process. This is normal. When the
discharging process is finished the "Set" button
will go out and the red LED will light up. This
indicates that the charging process is being
prepared.
If the battery pack fails to charge, check the
following:
whether there is voltage at the socket-outlet
whether there is good contact at the charging
contacts of the battery station (8).
If the battery pack still fails to charge, send the
Battery charger and charging adapter and the
Battery pack
to our customer services department.
Never fully discharge the battery pack during
operation. This will cause the NC battery pack to
develop a defect.
ON/OFF switch
Before inserting the battery pack, ensure that the
On/Off switch (3) is in the "0" position.
Insert the charged battery in the handle until it
locks into place.
Switch on the machine by moving the On/Off
switch (3) to the "1" position.
When it is in the "0" position, the machine is
switched off.
Inflating
If necessary fit an adapter (5 / 6) to the inflation
connection (1).
Connect the inflation connection or the adapter
to the valve on the product you wish to inflate.
Switch on the machine.
Switch off the machine again after completing
the inflation work.
Deflating
If necessary fit an adapter (5 / 6) to the deflation
connection (2).
Connect the deflation connection or the adapter
to the valve on the product you wish to deflate.
Switch on the machine.

Adapter (Figure 2)
To avoid problems during the inflation or deflation
process, ensure when you connect the adapter (5) to
standard valves that the opening in the adapter
points towards the open side of the non-return valve.
The valve cover (B) can be opened slightly by
pressing it together.

7. Cleaning, maintenance and ordering
of spare parts
Always pull out the mains power plug before starting
any cleaning work.
Cleaning
Keep all safety devices, air vents and the motor
housing free of dirt and dust as far as possible.
Wipe the equipment with a clean cloth or blow it
with compressed air at low pressure.
We recommend that you clean the device
immediately each time you have finished using it.
Clean the equipment regularly with a moist cloth
and some soft soap. Do not use cleaning agents
or solvents; these could attack the plastic parts
of the equipment. Ensure that no water can seep
into the device.
Maintenance
There are no parts inside the equipment which
require additional maintenance.
