Do not start using the fryer before reinserting the frying pan.
Note: Do not touch the pan during use and for some time afterwards, as it
gets very hot. Only ever hold the pan by its handle.
5. Select the right temperature by turning the temperature control knob.
Refer to "Settings" in this chapter.
6. To turn on the product, adjust the timer knob to specify the duration of
cooking. If you are starting with frozen food, the cooking time should be 3
minutes longer.
The power lamp and the heating indicator lamp will come on.
During operation, the heating indicator lamp will repeatedly turn on and off.
This shows that the heating components are turning on and off to maintain
the set temperature.
Oil that drips from the food will be collected at the bottom of the frying-pan.
7. Some food items require turning during the cooking process (refer to
"Settings" in this chapter). To turn them, hold the frying-pan handle and
pull the frying pan out of the fat-free fryer. You can then turn the food
items before inserting the frying pan back into the product.
Note: Do not press the demounting button of the frying basket during the
turning process.
8. A beep from the timer will signal that the set cooking time has expired.
You can then pull the frying pan out of the product, placing it on a heat-
resistant surface.
9. Check that the food items are completely cooked.
10. Remove your food items from the frying basket to serve them.
To remove large or fragile food ingredients, you can use tongs.
To pour out small food items (e.g. chips), press the demounting button of the
frying basket (1) and remove the basket from the frying pan (2).
Do not overturn the frying basket before demounting it from the frying pan,
as this will cause any oil collected at the bottom of the frying pan to leak onto
the food ingredients.
Note: Take care, as steam may jet out of the fryer after cooking.
11. When you have finished cooking a batch of food items, the fat-free fryer
can be used to cook another batch at any time.
Notes:
1. Be aware that large food items will require more cooking time than small
ones.
2. Turning small food items during the cooking process can help distribute
the food items evenly and improve the final results.
3. By adding small amounts of oil to the fresh items shown in the photos,
you can achieve a crisper finish. After adding the oil, the food items
should be left to rest for several minutes before cooking them in the fat-
free fryer.
