7. When the correct address is displayed press F2 to
write.
8. The programmer will show "programmed ok" then
show the next address.

n Adding Text and Zone Information Without
Software
From MAIN page of the User Interface:
1. Press 1 -PROGRAM.
2. The panel will prompt the Installer password; the
default installer PIN is 00000: every digit will be
hidden by *(asterisk) symbol.
3. Press ENTER key.
4. Select the option 2: DEVICE.
5. Use the cursor keys RIGHT and LEFT to select
the Loop and press ENTER key.
6. Use the cursor keys RIGHT and LEFT to select the
device and press ENTER key; the control panel will
prompt whether to remove the device.
7. Use the cursor keys RIGHT and LEFT to select NO;
and press ENTER key.
8. Use the Alphanumeric keypad, to enter the required
text in the dedicated field; the cursor key UP will chan-
ge the text to capitals and the cursor key DOWN will
change the text to lower case, 0 is space.
9. Once added the text press ENTER; press ENTER
again if you do not want to change the WORKING
MODE until the zone number is highlighted.
10. Use the Alphanumeric keypad, to enter the requi-
red zone number and press ENTER key to confirm.
11. If the change of the device Base is not required
press ENTER key. The control panel reset.
12. Repeat the process for all the addresses you wish
to edit.
n Testing the Devices and monitoring
On the control panel check that each device will activate
correctly (for example test call points by inserting the
activate key, test smoke detectors with a smoke aerosol
can). To prove each individual device is reporting back
ok you can use the one man test facility or do a live test.

Test the sounders (local and loop).
press the control panel Evacuate key (this issues an
alarm). Then check that sounder has operated. After
the test press the SILENCE/RESOUND key, then the
RESET key (depending on the programming perfor-
med). Be aware of the possible nuisance caused by the
alarms, and take any required measures.
Test the open circuit monitoring. To do this discon-
nect any EOL resistors or associated circuits in the
system. Then ensure that the control panel reports the
appropriate faults. Afterwards, restore the system to
normal.
