A damaged or cracked additional handle must be
replaced. Never operate a machine with a defective
additional handle.
Prior to each use, check if there are parts missing,
worn, broken, torn or damaged. Do not use a
defective or incomplete guard.
Use only the supplied clamping devices.

5. Initial Operation

Prior to any conversion work: pull the mains
plug out of the socket. The machine must be
switched off and the spindle at a standstill.
Before commissioning, check that the rated
mains voltage and mains frequency stated on
the type plate match your power supply.
Always install an RCD with a maximum trip
current of 30 mA upstream.
Use only extension cables with a minimum cross-

section of 1.5 mm . Extension cables must
correspond to the power consumption of the
machine (cf Technical Specifications). If a cable
roller is used, always roll up the cable completely.
5.1 Attachguard at the angle grinder
Dismantle the extraction guard (8) and guide
table (10)
See page 2, fig. A.
1. Loosen clamping nut (3) and swivel extraction
guard (8) upwards.
2. The extraction guard (8) can be removed from
the guide table (10) in the shown position.
Attach the extraction guard (8) to the angle
grinder
See page 2, fig. B.
3. Loosen the clamping screw (20) until the
clamping ring (19) on the extraction guard
expands sufficiently.
4. Attach the angle grinder in the shown position to
the extraction guard (8).
5. Rotate angle grinder and fix at the desired angle,
see page 3, fig. E:
I) Pushing cut
II) Pulling cut
6. Firmly tighten the clamping screw (20)using the
supplied Allen screwdriver (5).
7. Make sure that the extraction guard is seated
securely - you should not be able to turn the
safety guard (8).
Assemble the extraction guard (8) and guide
table (10)
See page 2, fig. A.
8. Place the recess of the extraction guard (8) as
shown into the axle of the guide table (10).
9. Swivel the extraction guard (8) and the guide
table (10) into each other, set the desired cutting
depth and connect to each other by tightening
the clamping nut (3).
10.Check for secure connection.
