4.3.1. APPLICATION
The electric board type 44 is used to control the
automations for rolling and folding vertical doors. The
control of the three-phase motor (at one or two speed)
is under tension and it is obtained by relays and
contactor managed by a microprocessor. The position
of open or closed door is at limit switch. Electric board
44 is arranged on a box for external with enclosed
buttons.

CONTROL
AND
DESCRIPTION
- The electric board 44 accepts control impulses lasting
more than 50 ms.
Output 0-14: intermittent output ( 0,75s ON - 0,75s
OFF) limited in current for flashing 24V
Output 0: zero potential corresponding with the circuit
earth of control and the input of external accessories.
Output 1: clamp at +24V
It represents the common for every control and the
positive pole for the external accessories. When
contact 1-9P is open output 1 is disable.
Input 1-2: automatic closing enable. A permanent
contact 1-2 activates the mentioned function. At the
end of the opening move, if 1-2 is ON , a time-counting
is started. Its duration is fixed by the users by means of
the trimmer TC at whose expiration a closing move is
performed. When the door is not closed, the time-
counting is resetted starts since when the control 1-2
is put into action. The time-counting is resetted by the
following controls: 9P-3, 1-3A, 1-3B, 1-8 and 1-40.

nominal potential.

Input 1-3A/B: opening control. A control 1-3A or 1-3B
actuates the complete opening of the door. When it is
active, this control reset the timer of automatic closing.
Input 9P-3: closing from push-button panel. A control
9P-3 actuates the complete opening of the door. When
it is active, this control reset the timer of automatic
closing. With the open safety 1-8, the move is not
performed. In stop conditions, the opening is always
performed only at "present man".
Input 1-4: closing control. A control 1-4 starts the
closing move of the door.
Input 9P-4P: closing control from the push-button
panel. A control 9P-4P starts the closing move of the
door. In stop conditions or if closing safeties are active
(1-8 and 1-40) the closing is performed only at "present
man"
Input 1-8: control safety reopening in closing. The
opening of the contact 1-8 causes the inversion of the
movement (reopening) during the closing-phase. It forbids
the closing move controlled by 1-4, and reset the timer of
automatic closing and turns the control 9P-4P to closing
control while a man is present. With 1-8 opened only the
closing control "at present man" is enabled.
Input 1-9: control STOP / auto-stored controls. The
opening of the contact 1-9 causes the stop of any move
and it stops the execution of any other control while the
contact is open. When 1-9P is closed, it allows moves
of opening 1-3A, 1-3B and closing while a man is
present.
Input 1-9P: STOP control from the push-button
panel. It causes the complete stop and it sends a
RESET to the microprocessor.
Input 1-20: control of partial opening. A control 1-20
starts the partial opening of the door.
Input 1-40: control of safety by pneumatic edge or
FOTOTEST. The opening of contact 1-40 causes the
inversion of the movement (reopening) during the
closing phase. When the door is open, it forbids the
closing move controlled by 1-4, reset the automatic
closing timer and it turns the control 9P-4P in closing
control while a man is present (auto-stored controls
disconnected). Control 1-40 is not active when the
limit switch of closing FC is pushed.
Output 0-41: control of AUTOTEST for the
FOTOTEST device. The exit +24 V to the terminal 41
is present at each closing control and every 2s with
one of the safety signals activated.
4.3.4. SETTING AND ADJUSTMENTS
The functions of the contro board 44 are chosen by two
dip-switches:
Switch 1: pre-flashing lamp activation in opening.
In position ON a 2s pre-flashing phase is inserted
before carrying out every opening move, in position
OFF no pre-flashing is carried before the opening.
Switch 2: speed selection in opening. In position ON
the opening move is carried out at high speed while in
position OFF at low speed.
Switch 3: Exclusion of the photocell during opening.
In the ON position the photocell is also active during the
opening stage of the door, in the OFF position the
photocell is not active during the opening stage of the
door.
