INSTRUCTIONS OF USE
• Before using the deep fryer for the first time open the lid (1) by pressing in the opening lid knob (2), remove the
basket (7) and the handle.
• Place the wires of the handle (8) in the basket hook (10). To do it press the two wires of the handle (figure 1) and
introduce the ends into the holes of the support (figure 2). Then turn it outwards until it is inserted in the upper
side of the basket support (figure 3).
• Clean the baskets and the tank with a damp cloth and dry them carefully.
• Pour the oil into the tank (3). Bear in mind that the oil level must always be between the minimum (MIN.) and the
maximum (MAX.) levels. Both levels are indicated in the inside of the tank.
• While you prepare the food for cooking you may heat up the oil. To do so, plug the deep fryer into the mains.
The on indicator light (red colour) will light on. This indicator will be always on when the deep fryer is plugged
to the mains.
• Turn the temperature selector (4) clockwise to the adequate position according to the food to be fried. The ready
indicator (green light) will light on and the oil will begin to heat up. The higher temperatures are usually the most
adequate for frying food.
• When the selected temperature has been reached, the ready indicator (green light) light off. Place then the food
to be fried in the basket. This must be done with the basket out of the tank, and the food must not exceed the
three-quarter parts of the volume of the basket.
• If the food to be fried is in batter, it is advisable to put them in with the basket in the oil to avoid them sticking
to the basket.
• Put the basket with the food in the tank (3). Once the food are ready, remove the basket and await till they wring,
leaving the basket hung on its support (9) in the edge of the tank.
• When you have finished frying unplug the fryer from the mains and set the temperature selector to "Min".
• Wait for it to be completely cold and replace the lid to keep the oil clean of dust and other particles.
