Remove the lid from the aroma depot.

Fill the aroma depot. The maximum

filling quantity is approx. 50 ml.
Switch on the appliance as described
‹
in the section Using the appliance:
switching on (page 21.
Open the lid (1).
‹
Lay the food to be grilled over the
‹
open aroma depot.
Close down the lid (1).
‹
Grill the food until it is browned or
‹
cooked as desired.
Turn over the grilled food so that the
‹
each side of the meat comes into con-
tact with the aroma.
Grilling with solid ingredients in the
aroma depot
Remove the lid from the aroma depot.

Switch on the appliance as described
‹
in the section Using the appliance:
switching on (page 21).
Open the lid (1).

Put the fresh herbs into the aroma
‹
depot. Due the warmth, the herbs re-
lease a delicate aroma. This becomes
more intensive if you chop the herbs.
NOTE

To develop the maximum effect,
grilling should be started as
soon the aroma depot has been
filled.

Remove the lid from the aroma depot.

Fill the aroma depot up to roughly a

half with smoke chips.
Switch on the appliance as described
‹
in the section Using the appliance:
switching on (page 21).
Wait with grilling until the smoke chips
‹
have developed their smoky aroma.
A light smoky vapour rises out of the
grill.
Open the lid (1).
‹
Put the food to be grilled onto the grill-
‹
ing surface along the aroma depot.
Close down the lid (1).
‹
Grill the food until it is browned or
‹
cooked as desired.
After using
Set the thermostat to position "0".
‹
Pull the plug out of the mains socket.
‹

Remove heavy stains with the clean-
ing spatula supplied while the grilling
plates are still warm.

Allow the appliance to cool down and
clean it as described in the section
Cleaning and care (page 24).
