Self-cleaning function

This function cleans the inside of the soleplate. We recommend activating the
self-cleaning function approximately every 2 weeks.
1. Fill the water tank up to the MAX mark as described under "Adding water"
and set the steam control dial
2. Insert the power plug in the socket and set the temperature control dial
to MAX. Wait approximately 2 minutes until the maximum temperature is
reached.
3. Set the temperature control dial to 0 and pull the power plug out of the
socket.
4. Hold the steam iron level over a sink and push the "self clean" button
until the water tank is

Storage

1. Make sure that the device has cooled off completely and the water tank is
empty.
2. Wind the power cord loosely around the steam iron.
3. Stow the steam iron out of the reach of children in a dry, well ventilated
location.
4. If you do not use the steam iron for a prolonged period, stow it in the origi-
nal packaging to protect it against dust.
