14. Maintenance and Servicing

Depending on the quality of the water, the local conditions and the rules and
regulations applicable on site, the fitting must be maintained and serviced at regular
intervals.
Use suitable cleaning agents that are not harmful to the fittings in a proper manner and
rinse with water after use. High-pressure cleaners must not be used for cleaning.
Remove the cover plate
To perform maintenance work it is necessary to remove the cover plate.
14.1 Loosen the grub screw (a).
14.2 Remove the cover plate (b).
Important!
Do not remove the circlip (c).
14.3 Use a screwdriver with a blade width of 8 mm to close the water volume regulator.
Screw the flow volume regulator up to the stop limit.
14.4 Trigger the valve.

15. Replacing the Self-closing Cartridge Element

15.1 Remove the cover plate (see
15.2 Press in the rings (a) in the arrow direction and pull out the plastic hoses (b).
15.3 Use the assembly tool (d) to screw out the self-closing cartridge element (c).
15.4 Reassemble in the reverse order.
Important!
• Tighten the self-closing cartridge element carefully.
• Keep the flush plug in the in-wall installation box as a tool for any possible
dismounting of the self-closing cartridge element at a later time.
