Installation instructions:
To ensure proper heat dissipation, the device is to be installed vertically with the input and output terminals pointing
downward. A clearance of at least 50 mm each is to be observed beneath and above the device. The supply voltage (24
VDC) is to be connected according to IEC 60364 and EN 50178. A protective device (fuse) and a disconnecting device to
isolate the power supply from the mains must be provided.
In the case of applications in a potentially explosive environment, it is imperative to ensure that IP 54 protection degree is
achieved after installation.

Before starting installation or maintenance work, turn off the main switch of the plant and secure it against restarting. Under
no circumstances must the device be opened. Nonobservance may result in touching of live parts in the interior of the device,
which may lead to death or severe personal injury.
Description and design:
The SITOP Power Supply 12 V/2.5 A is a built-in unit according to EN 60950. When installing the device, observe the
relevant DIN/VDE regulations or national standards.
Primary-switched power supplies for installation on a standard mounting rail acc. to DIN EN 50022-35x15/7.5.
For hard-wired connection to 24VDC systems. The supply voltage must be electrically isolated (SELV or PELV) from the
incoming a.c. system.
+12 VDC output voltage, floating, short-circuit- and open-circuit-proof.
It is permissible to connect two devices of the same type in parallel to increase output power (condition: The difference
between the output voltages should be < 0.2 %, and the line impedance to the load should be identical).
