Important safeguards
In addition, it is recommended that the steamer is cleaned at least once a month
in order to remove any deposits.
Without regular descaling, you will find that scale is pushed out of the steamer in
the form of white/brown stains and that the steam output is compromised.
• Do not allow the cord to touch hot surfaces.
• Never tug the cord to disconnect it from the outlet; instead, grab the plug and
pull it out to disconnect it from the power supply.
• Close supervision is required when the steamer is being used near children, pets,
or plants. Do not leave the steamer unattended while plugged in.
• The steamer is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, lack of experience and knowledge,
unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the
unit by a person responsible for their safety.
• Do not use the steamer where aerosol-based products are being used or where
oxygen is being administered.
• The steamer is only meant to be used with the provided accessories. Using other
types of attachments may cause damage to the unit or personal injury.
• Do not attempt to use the steamer without properly filling it with water.
• To reduce the risk of a circuit overload, do not operate another high wattage
appliance on the same circuit.
• WARNING: To reduce the risk of electrical shock, this steamer uses a grounded
(three-prong) plug. This plug will fit into a grounded wall outlet only one way.
If the plug does not correctly fit into the outlet, contact a licensed electrician to
install a proper outlet. DO NOT attempt to modify the plug or defeat this safety
feature.
