Operation
1. First turn down all level controls of the input channels and
the effect controls to the left stop position.
2. Use the input selector buttons to switch the channels 1 to
4 to microphone or line level according to the signal sources
connected. The wireless microphone use channels 2 and 4.
3. Adjust the MASTER LEVEL control for the overall volume to
a level that the subsequent adjustments can be heard well
via the speakers.
4. Adjust the desired volume ratio of the input channels with
the VOL controls. Turn the controls of the inputs not used to 0.
In case of overload the red LED PEAK lights up. If it lights red
continuously, reduce the level of the signal sources accordingly.
Do not direct any microphones to the
speakers. This can result in dangerous and
unpleasant acoustic feedback which will
generate a loud whistling sound.
5. Adjust the desired sound with the tone controls. By adjust-
ing the tone controls, the high frequencies (control TREBLE)
and the low frequencies (control BASS) can be boosted or
attenuated. With the controls in mid-position, the frequency
response is not affected.
6. Determine the definite level for the master volume of the
PA system with the MASTER LEVEL control. In case of over-
load the red LEDs LIMIT light up. If a LED light continuously,
turn back the master control accordingly.
7. For optimum receiving of the radio signal:
•
Maintain a line-of-sight between the microphones and
receiver antennas.
•
Make sure the distance between the microphones and
receiver is not too long.
•
Make sure the reception is not disturbed by objects in
the transmission path; avoid placing the microphones
and the receiver where metal or other dense materials
may be present and computers or other HF-generating
equipament (min. 50 cm distance).
•
Make sure the batteries of the hand-held microphone
are always sufficiently charged.

Adding an Echo Effect
An echo effect created via the integrated effect processor can
be added to the signal of the input channels 1to 4
1. With the REVERB controls, adjust the signal par for each
channel wich is to be fed to the internal effect processor. The
further the control is advanced, the more powerful is the ef-
fect for the channel. The effect level is also dependent on the
channel volume adjusted with the VOL control.
2. With the REV. RETURN control adjust the overall intensity
of the echo effect.
Audio Player
The audio player can either be operated via buttons on the
front panel or via the remote control. When actuating a but-
ton, always direct the remote control towards the sensor.
There must be no obstacles between remote control and the
sensor. If the range of the remote control decreases, the bat-
tery is probably exhausted and must be replaced.
1. Keep the button [STOP/POWER] pressed for two seconds
to switch on the audio player. The display shortly indicates
a welcome screen "WELCOME, PLEASE WAIT...", "; then "NO
DISCK" comes on if no data carrier has been inserted.
2. Insert a USB device into the USB port and/or a memory
card into the card slot. Shortly press the button [MODE] to
switch between the data carriers.
3. After loading a data carrier, it is selected as the playback
medium and read in. The display indicates the total number
of titles and "PLEASE PUSH PLAY".
4. Start the playback with the button [PLAY/PAUSE] on the
player or [▶☐] on the remote control. The display indicates
"▶". During the playback, the display indicates the elapsed
time of the current title in minutes and seconds. Additionally,
the file name will be scrolling across the display.
