5.4 First Aid Instructions
If you do get chlorinated water splashed from the adding of tablets, follow the fi rst aid directions listed:
Eye Contact:
Flush with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes, occasionally lifting the upper and lower eyelids.
Skin Contact:
In case of contact, immediately fl ush skin with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes while removing contaminated
clothing and shoes.
5.5 Recommendations
DO List
•
Read and keep your manual in a safe place.
•
Add Tri-Chlor tablets slowly to avoid splashing of water.
•
Increase chlorine production before high bather load and return to normal afterwards.
•
Increase chlorine production when temperature goes up.
•
Decrease production when temperature goes down (for example, in the fall and winter seasons).
•
Take pool water sample to service representative once per month.
DON'T List
•
Do not get fertilizer in your pool. Fertilizers contain nitrates which cause a high chlorine demand on pool water.
•
Do not let chlorine stabilizer drop below 10 ppm.
